Dr. Mamoon Rashid graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Dental Science from University College Cork in 2004. Since 2007 he has been providing a high level of care to his patients at Castlelawn Dental practice, providing a broad range of treatments such as cosmetic dentistry, endodontics, difficult extractions and dental prosthetics. Dr. Rashid believes in the principle of ‘Minimally Invasive Dentistry’ which reflects how dentists can provide the highest level of service to the teeth with the least invasiveness. In 2008 he made a concious decision to place mercury free tooth coloured fillings in every case. Dr. Rashid has a special interest in cosmetic dentistry & implantology. He has a vast experience in providing veneers, crowns & bridges; carrying out everything from restoring a single tooth with a veneer to full smile rejuvenation using implants, crowns & bridgework. He is also a six month smile provider. Six Month Smiles® utilizes specialised clear braces to gently straighten and align teeth in an average time of just six months. He is looking forward to welcoming old & new patients to R.Dent.
